Job Description
A Vision Therapist works with patients who have vision problems or impairments, conducting specialized assessments and tailored therapy plans. They provide visual training, exercises, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ visual abilities, eye-coordination, and functional vision. This role supports overall eye-health under supervision of qualified optometry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vision assessments identifying various functional visual issues.
- Develop personalized therapy plans using evidence-based treatment strategies.
- Guide patients through structured visual rehabilitation exercise sessions.
- Monitor therapeutic progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with optometrists for comprehensive patient vision care.
