SQA Trainee
Job Description
SQA Trainee supports software quality assurance activities under senior guidance. The role focuses on learning testing methodologies, executing test cases, identifying defects, and documenting results. Trainees collaborate with developers, understand requirements, and help ensure reliable, user-friendly, high-quality software across web and mobile applications while following processes, tools, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for assigned software modules
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools systems
- Understand requirements and create basic test scenarios documents
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing activities regularly
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce reported issues accurately
- Maintain test documentation and report daily testing status
- Follow QA processes, standards, and quality best practices
- Learn automation basics and assist in script maintenance.
Skill & Experience
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts methodologies fundamentals
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and documentation processes
- Good analytical skills and attention to details consistently
- Ability to understand requirements and test scenarios clearly
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration effective daily
- Willingness to learn automation tools and technologies quickly.
