Job Description
Senior Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology responsible for managing high-risk pregnancies, gynecological cases, emergency obstetric care, surgical procedures, patient counseling, and supervising junior medical staff in tertiary hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-risk pregnancy cases effectively
- Conduct normal and cesarean deliveries
- Assist and perform gynecological surgeries
- Handle obstetric emergencies promptly
- Supervise junior residents and interns
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide antenatal and postnatal counseling
- Coordinate multidisciplinary maternal healthcare services.
Skill & Experience
- Strong clinical knowledge in obstetrics gynecology
- Excellent surgical and procedural competencies
- Effective communication with patients families
- Ability to manage emergencies calmly
- Leadership skills for supervising residents
- Accurate documentation and medical record keeping.
