Security Analyst
Job Description
Security Analyst protects organizational systems, networks, and sensitive data by monitoring threats, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and responding to cyber incidents to ensure information security and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks for suspicious activities and threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing regularly
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response actions
- Implement security policies, standards, and procedures
- Analyze logs using advanced security monitoring tools
- Manage firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion systems
- Prepare detailed security reports for management
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis
- Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and encryption
- Ability to detect and mitigate cyber threats
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Effective communication and incident reporting abilities.
