They design interactive experiments, support educators, and communicate complex topics in accessible ways. Their role fosters student engagement, inquiry-based learning, and safe practical exploration of physics, biology, chemistry, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up science experiments for learners’ exploration.
- Guide students safely through hands-on practical science activities.
- Explain scientific concepts clearly to diverse age groups.
- Maintain lab equipment, restock materials, and ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate inquiry into curriculum.
- Facilitate science shows, demonstrations, and interactive gallery interactions.
- Monitor safety protocols, enforce lab discipline, and manage risks.
- Assess student learning, provide feedback, and adapt facilitation strategies.
