Job Description
An Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist provides comprehensive care for women’s reproductive health, including pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the female reproductive system. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions, conducting deliveries, performing surgeries, and offering preventive care. The specialist ensures patient education, safety, and emotional support while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services in both clinical and hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine gynecological exams, screenings, and preventive health assessments.
- Manage pregnancies, monitor fetal development, and provide prenatal counseling.
- Perform safe deliveries, including cesarean sections and assisted births.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage gynecological disorders and conditions effectively.
- Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, and fertility options.
- Collaborate with medical teams for surgeries and patient care planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments and procedures.
