The Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist provides comprehensive care for women’s reproductive health, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal management. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating gynecological disorders, performing deliveries and surgeries, and counseling patients on health, fertility, and family planning. The specialist ensures high-quality patient care, maintains medical records, and collaborates with healthcare teams to optimize outcomes, following ethical standards and hospital protocols to provide compassionate and effective women’s healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions with evidence-based medical practices.
- Monitor pregnancies ensuring maternal and fetal health throughout gestation.
- Perform deliveries including normal and cesarean section procedures safely.
- Conduct gynecological surgeries and minor procedures as required professionally.
- Counsel patients regarding reproductive health, family planning, and fertility options.
