Job Description
Nursing Officer-OT is responsible for assisting surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, supporting surgeons and anesthetists, ensuring patient safety, and managing operation theatre protocols efficiently in hospitals and surgical centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operation theatre before surgical procedures
- Maintain strict sterile environment during surgeries
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations
- Monitor patient vitals throughout surgical procedure
- Handle surgical instruments with precision
- Ensure post-operative patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate surgical and nursing documentation
- Follow infection control and hospital protocols.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical nursing procedures
- Excellent communication with medical team members
- Ability to manage emergencies calmly
- Proficient in sterilization and infection control
- Attention to detail during surgical assistance
- Physical stamina for long surgical hours.
