Job Description
Nursing Officer – NICU provides specialized neonatal intensive care, monitors critically ill newborns, supports pediatricians, ensures infection control, manages life-support equipment, and promotes safe recovery within advanced hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor newborn vital signs and oxygen levels
- Administer neonatal medications as prescribed safely
- Assist neonatologists during procedures and emergencies
- Maintain sterile NICU environment preventing infections
- Operate ventilators and neonatal monitoring equipment
- Document patient progress and treatment updates
- Educate parents about newborn care practices
- Respond promptly to neonatal medical emergencies.
