Legal Counsel
Job Description
Legal Counsel provides corporate legal advice, manages compliance, drafts contracts, mitigates risks, supports governance, handles disputes, ensures regulatory adherence, and protects organizational interests across business operations and strategic decisions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts effectively daily
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws regulations and standards
- Provide legal advice to senior management on strategy
- Handle litigation disputes and regulatory investigations when required
- Develop company policies minimizing legal risks and exposure
- Coordinate with external law firms for complex matters
- Review corporate governance and compliance frameworks periodically updated
- Support mergers acquisitions and business expansions legally securely.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law principles
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation abilities with stakeholders
- Understanding of UAE regulatory compliance requirements and governance
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams globally.
