Job Description
General Counsel leads corporate legal strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risks, advising executives, overseeing litigation, contracts, governance, and safeguarding organizational interests across domestic and international legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice to executive leadership team
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies
- Oversee litigation, dispute resolution, and external legal counsel
- Draft, review, negotiate complex contracts and agreements
- Manage corporate governance, board meetings, and legal documentation
- Identify legal risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Lead internal investigations and ensure ethical business practices
- Supervise legal department operations, budgeting, and resource planning.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and compliance regulations
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and contract management expertise
- Strategic thinking with high-level problem solving capabilities
- Leadership skills managing legal teams and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills for advising executives and boards
- Ability to handle litigation, risk management, compliance frameworks.
