Job Description
Consultant in Fetal Medicine provides expert care for high-risk pregnancies, specializing in diagnosing and managing fetal anomalies. This role involves advanced prenatal diagnostics, counseling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fetal assessments using ultrasound, Doppler, and genetic screening.
- Diagnose and manage fetal anomalies, growth restrictions, and high-risk conditions.
- Provide antenatal counseling and coordinate care plans with obstetricians and neonatologists.
- Perform or assist in fetal interventions like amniocentesis and CVS.
- Collaborate with radiologists, geneticists, and NICU teams for integrated care.
- Contribute to clinical audits, research, and CME programs.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory standards and hospital protocols.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff in fetal medicine practices.
