Job Description
Network Engineer (L2) manages enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshoots connectivity issues, ensures network security, monitors performance, and supports routing, switching, and firewall operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise network infrastructure and resolve connectivity issues.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless network devices.
- Perform network troubleshooting using advanced diagnostic monitoring tools.
- Ensure network security compliance across organizational infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and technical support.
- Implement backup solutions ensuring network availability and reliability.
- Support LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networking environments.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain network configuration records.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, and wireless network environments.
- Proficiency using network monitoring and troubleshooting software tools.
- Understanding cybersecurity concepts and enterprise network security practices.
- Ability configuring Cisco, Juniper, and enterprise networking devices.
- Excellent communication skills supporting cross-functional technical operational teams.
