Network & IT Officer
Job Description
Network & IT Officer manages computer networks, servers, hardware, software, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and user support to ensure smooth IT operations, secure connectivity, and reliable business technology performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage LAN, WAN, internet, and network connectivity.
- Monitor servers, systems, backups, and security logs.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and email issues.
- Install, configure, and update IT infrastructure regularly.
- Maintain firewall, antivirus, access, and security policies.
- Support users with technical problems and requests.
- Document IT assets, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate vendors for repairs, purchases, and upgrades.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, backups, and access control.
- Good communication and user support handling skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, cloud, and databases.
