Worked remotely as the Chairperson for AMS’s federal grant review panel for the USDA's competitive Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP), overseeing the evaluation of multi-million dollar grant applications.
Managed the entire grant review process from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to USDA guidelines, scoring rubrics, and federal compliance standards.
Directed the panel members by facilitating productive evaluation sessions, ensuring meetings started and ended on time, and maintaining a focused and efficient review environment.
Served as the primary liaison between the review panel and the USDA Panel Manager, responsible for the timely and accurate submission of all final evaluation materials.
Provided continuous support to panel members, ensuring they had all necessary information, documentation, and technical resources to perform thorough and objective evaluations.
Implemented a quality control process by reviewing all evaluation scores for consistency and accuracy, and submitting evaluations back to members for correction and recalibration as needed.
