Job Description
Nursing Officer – Wards provides comprehensive inpatient care, monitors patient conditions, administers treatments, ensures safety standards, coordinates with doctors, maintains documentation, and supports recovery within hospital ward environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and record observations
- Administer medications as prescribed by doctors
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and infection control
- Assist doctors during rounds and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient medical documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients daily
- Coordinate with healthcare team for care
- Respond promptly to ward emergencies.
Skill & Experience
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Effective communication with patients and families
- Ability to manage ward emergencies calmly
- Proficiency in nursing documentation systems
