Job Description
A CT/MRI Technologist operates imaging equipment to capture detailed internal images, assisting in diagnosing medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT/MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain clear, accurate diagnostic images.
- Position patients appropriately to capture necessary anatomical views.
- Monitor patients during procedures, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain imaging equipment, performing regular quality checks and calibration.
- Adhere to safety protocols, minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists to discuss imaging findings and procedures.
Skill & Experience
- Proficiency in operating CT/MRI imaging equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Attention to detail in capturing and analyzing diagnostic images.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
