Job Description

Radiography Technologist, also known as a Radiologic Technologist, specializes in capturing diagnostic images using X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging technologies. They play a vital role in assisting physicians by providing clear and accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per physician’s instructions.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.
  • Ensure patient safety by minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations in imaging procedures.

Skill & Experience

  • Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to position patients effectively for imaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and medical staff.
  • Attention to detail in documenting and interpreting imaging results.
