Job Description
Senior Manager – PLC & Network oversees the design, integration, and maintenance of industrial automation and networking systems. This role involves managing PLC programming, control systems, and industrial communication networks to ensure efficient plant operations. The candidate leads a technical team, ensures system reliability, and supports innovation in automation processes, aligning with organizational goals for productivity, safety, and technology advancement in industrial automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PLC programming, testing, and troubleshooting for automation efficiency.
- Manage network infrastructure ensuring seamless industrial data communication flow.
- Oversee integration of control systems across manufacturing environments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for process optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety and cybersecurity standards always.
- Maintain documentation and reports for all automation system updates.
- Conduct performance analysis and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to automation engineering staff.
Skill & Experience
- Strong expertise in PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Proficiency in Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and other communication protocols.
- In-depth understanding of SCADA, HMI, and control architecture design.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities in operations.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity and control network maintenance practices.
- Effective communication and project management skills for technical teams.
