Senior Engineer, Telecom IP & Transmission Planning designs, optimizes, and manages IP networks and transmission infrastructure, ensuring high-performance connectivity, capacity planning, and reliable telecom services across enterprise and carrier-grade communication environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design IP backbone and transmission network architecture
- Plan capacity upgrades for telecom infrastructure growth
- Optimize network performance and traffic engineering strategies
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment deployment planning
- Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards
- Analyze network KPIs and performance metrics
- Support troubleshooting of IP transmission issues
- Prepare technical reports and network documentation.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of IP routing protocols
- Experience in transmission technologies and DWDM
- Expertise in network capacity planning tools
- Proficiency in telecom network performance optimization
- Ability to analyze complex network traffic
