Job Description
Senior Data Scientist applies advanced machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets — driving strategic decisions, leading data science projects, and mentoring junior team members across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful and actionable insights.
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from conception to deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists on best practices consistently.
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, validation processes, and mining workflows.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging data science tools, trends, and methodologies.
Skill & Experience
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and big data analytics tools.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
