Senior Consultant – Cisco Wireless and SDWAN
Job Description
Infosys Sweden seeks a Senior Consultant specializing in Cisco Wireless and SD-WAN to join its Gothenburg network team. This role will lead design, deployment, and troubleshooting of wireless networks (especially Cisco Meraki), RADIUS authentication and SDWAN solutions across global sites. The consultant ensures scalable, secure, high-performance network infrastructure while collaborating with architects, operations, and cross-functional teams. Strong automation, documentation, and architecture sense needed in a dynamic consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and deployment of Meraki wireless networks across multiple sites.
- Troubleshoot wireless device issues, perform firmware updates, optimize performance.
- Design SDWAN architecture, configure policies, monitor path selection, failovers.
- Implement and maintain RADIUS authentication for secure wireless and access.
- Develop scripts/integrations using APIs for automation of network operations.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions with stakeholders and IT teams.
- Maintain documentation, best practices, network diagrams, and configuration standards.
- Ensure high availability, performance, security compliance, and network scalability.
Skill & Experience
- Deep expertise with Cisco Meraki wireless platforms, deployments, troubleshooting, configurations.
- Strong knowledge of SDWAN technologies, policy configuration, path selection, failover.
- Experience with RADIUS setup and authentication, radius servers, secure access.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or similar) to automate network tasks.
- Excellent communication for liaising with global clients and cross-functional teams.
- Certifications like CCNP Enterprise or equivalent; Meraki credentials considered advantageous.
