Senior Consultant – AI/ML Data Scientists
Job Description
Infosys Japan seeks a Senior Consultant in AI/ML to lead data-driven innovation across global and local clients. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning solutions, translating business requirements into technical models, and guiding analytics strategy. You will mentor teams, participate in architecture discussions, validate model performance, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. This position demands strong technical expertise, business insight, and delivery leadership in AI/ML environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into ML/AI models that solve problems.
- Design, build, deploy scalable algorithms, integrating data pipelines effectively.
- Verify model performance by validating, testing, refining features regularly.
- Mentor junior data scientists, guide them in best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align ML solutions with business goals.
- Ensure data quality, cleanliness, and integrity across modeling datasets.
- Monitor deployed models, manage performance drift, maintain lifecycle management.
- Stay updated with AI/ML advancements; propose innovations for improvement.
Skill & Experience
- Proficient in Python, R, or similar languages for modeling tasks.
- Strong ability with ML/DL frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Good understanding of statistics, mathematics, algorithmic complexity, evaluation metrics.
- Experience with data pipelines, cleaning, feature engineering, big data tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
- Prior project leadership, architectural design, hands-on deployment, scalable solutions.
