Job Description
A SEN Facilitator (Special Educational Needs Facilitator) supports students with diverse learning needs by designing and implementing individualized education plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, and ensuring inclusive learning environments. They monitor progress, adapt teaching strategies, and coordinate with specialists to enhance student engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design individualized education plans tailored to each learner’s abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom instruction strategies.
- Provide targeted support during one-on-one or small group sessions.
- Monitor and assess student progress using regular evaluations.
- Liaise with parents and caregivers to advise and update.
- Coordinate with therapists and external specialists for student support.
- Train staff in inclusive practices and differentiated teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student interventions and outcomes.
