Job Description
The Regional Crewing Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating crew operations across assigned regions. The role ensures timely recruitment, deployment, compliance, and welfare of crew members while maintaining operational efficiency. This position requires strong organizational skills to balance manpower planning, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The officer acts as a bridge between management and crew, ensuring seamless communication, scheduling, and performance tracking to support business goals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule crew assignments ensuring operational readiness and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with international maritime labor regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training activities for new crew.
- Monitor crew performance, attendance, and address related disciplinary issues.
- Manage crew documentation, visas, contracts, and travel arrangements accurately.
- Liaise with regional offices ensuring smooth coordination of crewing operations.
- Handle crew grievances, welfare, and support for professional development.
- Prepare reports on crew status, movements, and compliance requirements.
Skill & Experience
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple crewing schedules efficiently.
