QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
QA Automation Engineer develops automated testing frameworks, validates software quality, identifies defects, improves release reliability, and ensures seamless application performance across platforms efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable automation frameworks for enterprise software testing
- Execute automated regression testing across multiple application environments
- Identify software defects and collaborate with development teams
- Maintain test scripts for continuous integration deployment pipelines
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed quality reports
- Perform API, database, and cross-browser compatibility testing activities
- Improve testing efficiency through reusable automation testing components
- Ensure software releases meet business quality and compliance standards
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright automation frameworks
- Experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript automation programming languages
- Understanding software development lifecycle and agile testing methodologies principles
- Expertise in API testing using Postman and RestAssured tools
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Excellent debugging, analytical, communication, and problem-solving technical abilities
