Job Description
An Optometrist examines eyes, diagnoses vision problems, prescribes corrective lenses, detects eye diseases, and provides preventive eye care services to improve patient vision health and overall ocular well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Diagnose refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses
- Detect early signs of ocular diseases accurately
- Provide patient education on eye health
- Fit contact lenses and provide guidance
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists for advanced treatments
- Ensure clinic hygiene and equipment maintenance.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy principles
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
