Mobile Device Tester evaluates smartphones, tablets, and applications for performance, usability, compatibility, and security, ensuring seamless user experience through systematic testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Execute functional testing across multiple mobile operating systems
- Identify software bugs and report detailed technical issues
- Perform regression testing after software updates and fixes
- Validate application compatibility across various mobile device configurations
- Monitor device performance, battery usage, and application responsiveness
- Coordinate with developers resolving software defects and issues
- Create detailed testing documentation and execution status reports
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and protocols
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Android and iOS mobile platforms
- Experience using mobile testing tools and debugging software
- Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and methodologies principles
- Ability identifying defects with analytical problem-solving technical skills
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks for mobile applications
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical testing findings
