Job Description
Maths Teacher (PGT) is responsible for teaching mathematics to senior secondary students with a focus on conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and exam preparation. The role demands strong subject expertise, effective communication, and modern teaching strategies aligned with CBSE/State Board curriculum and educational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for senior students.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum and learning objectives.
- Assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and class participation.
- Provide individual support to students needing extra help in mathematics.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Integrate digital tools and visual aids for effective concept explanation.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in academic planning sessions.
- Guide students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests.
Skill & Experience
- Strong command over mathematical concepts and logical reasoning ability.
- Excellent classroom management and effective communication with students.
- Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching aids.
- Ability to motivate students and enhance critical problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and lesson-planning abilities for academic excellence.
- Knowledge of CBSE/State Board curriculum and TET/B.Ed standards.
