Job Description
Manual Tester verifies software quality by executing test cases, identifying bugs, validating functionality, and ensuring reliable user experience across web, mobile, and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and prepare detailed manual test scenarios.
- Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects accurately.
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and usability testing.
- Validate web, mobile, API, and database functionality.
- Coordinate with developers for timely defect resolution.
- Prepare test reports, logs, and quality documentation.
- Ensure product quality before production release cycles.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Hands-on experience in manual software testing techniques.
- Ability to write clear test cases efficiently.
- Knowledge of Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Basic SQL understanding for database validation tasks.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
