Job Description
Senior LiveOps Engineer manages live game operations, monitoring performance, deploying updates, optimizing player experience, troubleshooting incidents, collaborating cross-functional teams, ensuring uptime, scalability, analytics-driven improvements for global gaming platforms and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live services, detect issues, ensure uptime continuously
- Deploy updates safely using automated pipelines and rollbacks
- Analyze metrics to optimize player engagement and retention
- Coordinate with developers during incident resolution and communication
- Maintain server stability across production environments globally consistently
- Implement monitoring alerts and automated recovery mechanisms efficiently
- Collaborate with product teams for feature rollouts planning
- Document operational procedures and postmortem incident reports clearly.
Skill & Experience
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration tools
- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, automation frameworks
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and observability practices implementation
- Understanding CI CD pipelines and deployment strategies effectively
- Experience troubleshooting high availability distributed systems under pressure
- Strong communication skills collaborating cross functional teams effectively.
