IoT Engineer
Job Description
IoT Engineers develop smart connected systems integrating sensors, cloud platforms, embedded devices, and analytics to improve automation, monitoring, operational efficiency, and real-time decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable Internet of Things device communication architectures
- Develop embedded firmware for connected smart hardware devices
- Monitor sensor performance and troubleshoot connectivity related issues
- Integrate IoT platforms with cloud infrastructure and analytics
- Ensure secure device authentication and encrypted data transmission
- Collaborate with software teams for seamless application integration
- Conduct device testing, maintenance, debugging, and performance optimization
- Prepare technical documentation for deployments and operational support
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming
- Experience with MQTT, Zigbee, Bluetooth, and networking protocols
- Proficiency developing cloud-integrated Internet of Things applications securely
- Understanding cybersecurity practices for connected industrial smart devices
- Ability analyzing sensor data using analytics and visualization tools
- Experience using Python, C++, Linux, and automation frameworks
