Job Description
An Intensivist is a specialized critical care physician managing severely ill patients in intensive care units. They provide advanced life support, monitor complex conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure evidence-based treatment for life-threatening medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in intensive care
- Perform advanced life support and emergency interventions
- Monitor vital parameters using critical care technologies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical and nursing teams
- Develop and adjust evidence based treatment plans
- Communicate patient status with families and caregivers
- Ensure infection control and ICU safety protocols
- Supervise residents and critical care medical staff.

- Strong clinical decision making under high pressure
- Expertise in ventilator and hemodynamic management
