Job Description
Hope Global School is seeking a Dance Teacher instructs students in various Western dance styles, including hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and ballet. They design engaging lesson plans, correct techniques, and inspire creativity. The role involves assessing student progress, organizing performances, and fostering a safe, supportive environment. Ideal candidates are passionate, energetic, and experienced in dance, with strong communication skills to mentor students of all ages and skill levels effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured dance lessons for all students.
- Teach proper techniques in various Western dance styles consistently.
- Motivate and inspire students to express creativity confidently.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback regularly.
- Organize and coordinate dance performances or showcases successfully.
- Ensure studio safety and proper dance equipment usage always.
- Maintain student attendance records and progress reports accurately.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary dance projects efficiently.
Skill & Experience
- Expertise in multiple Western dance forms and performance techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and colleagues.
- Ability to choreograph original routines creatively and effectively.
- Patience and adaptability while teaching students of varying skill levels.
- Knowledge of dance theory, musicality, and rhythm comprehension.
- Physical stamina, coordination, and fitness to demonstrate movements properly.
