Job Description
Cataract & Glaucoma Consultants diagnose, treat, and manage advanced eye disorders including cataracts and glaucoma, performing microsurgeries and long-term vision care to prevent blindness and restore optimal visual health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose cataract and glaucoma related vision disorders
- Perform advanced microsurgical cataract extraction procedures
- Manage glaucoma using medical and surgical interventions
- Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic diagnostic examinations regularly
- Monitor intraocular pressure and optic nerve health
- Prescribe medications and postoperative recovery treatments
- Educate patients about vision care management
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up documentation.
Skill & Experience
- Advanced ophthalmic microsurgery and precision techniques
- Strong diagnostic interpretation of ocular imaging
- Expertise in glaucoma pressure management protocols
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
- Ability to manage surgical complications effectively
- Thorough knowledge of modern ophthalmology technologies.
