Job Description
As an Auxiliary Equipment Engineer at Infosys, you will oversee the specification, selection, and review of third-party equipment to meet customer and company requirements. This role involves working across various technical areas, including noise control, emissions control, fluid/thermal processes, pressure vessels, and pumps. You will adopt a holistic approach to HRSG design, optimizing overall equipment selection to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Specify and select third-party auxiliary equipment for projects.
- Review equipment designs for compliance with technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to assess equipment installation.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and operation.
Skill & Experience
- Proficiency in auxiliary equipment design and selection processes.
- Strong understanding of noise and emissions control technologies.
- Experience with fluid/thermal processes and pressure vessels.
- Ability to analyze and optimize HRSG designs effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration.
