Job Description
Audio Video Technician installs, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains AV systems, sound equipment, displays, projectors, conferencing tools, and event technology for meetings, classrooms, offices, auditoriums, and live events.
Responsibilities
- Install audio, video, projector, and conferencing systems professionally.
- Test AV equipment before events and client meetings.
- Troubleshoot sound, display, cabling, and connectivity issues.
- Operate microphones, mixers, speakers, cameras, and screens.
- Maintain AV inventory, tools, accessories, and spare parts.
- Coordinate with event teams, vendors, and technical staff.
- Configure video conferencing platforms and meeting room equipment.
- Ensure safety, quality, and timely technical support.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of audio video installation and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of cabling, signal flow, and connectors.
- Experience with mixers, projectors, displays, and microphones.
- Good communication skills for client and team coordination.
- Basic networking knowledge for conferencing and smart systems
