I am writing to express my interest in a position within your organization where I can
contribute my skills and knowledge in psychology and mental health support. As a
Master of Science (M.Sc.) Psychology graduate with hands-on internship experience at
RICCCH Rehabilitation Centre and Government Mental Health Centre, I have developed
a strong foundation in psychological assessment, school counseling, rehabilitation, and
mental health care.
During my internships, I worked with children and adults facing emotional, behavioral,
developmental, and special needs challenges. I conducted individual and group counseling,
contributed to individualized care plans, and implemented interventions such as positive
reinforcement, social skills training, visual schedules, and behavior modification techniques.
When working with special needs children, I employed a calm, structured, and supportive
approach, maintaining clear routines, providing visual aids, offering step-by-step guidance,
and reinforcing positive behaviors. Additionally, I facilitated awareness programs, managed
sensitive cases, and performed school counselor duties, including student guidance and
emotional support. These experiences have strengthened my ability to deliver empathetic,
evidence-based care within multidisciplinary teams.
I am confident that my academic background and practical experience equip me to
contribute positively to your team. I am passionate about promoting mental well-being
and eager to apply my skills in a dynamic environment that values holistic psychological
