Work & Experience
I manage my patients within my professional jurisdiction. I am capable of doing everything that is expected of an optometrist.
➢ ROLE: Carrying out optometric tests viz. Visual acuity testing,
Ocular Motility, external examination, Ophthalmoscopy, Retinoscopy,
Tonometry and Subjectivity refraction.
➢ Management of ocular diseases.
➢ Dispensing of Spectacles, and contact lens corrective wears.
➢ Assisted the senior Ophthalmologist during cataract and glaucoma
surgical procedures.
➢ ROLE: Examine, diagnose and manage diseases of the eyes, low
vision and orthoptics training.
➢ Prescribe drugs, corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses with
reference to patient diagnosis.
➢ ROLE: Diagnosing and managing Minor Ocular diseases and
dispensing of prescribed spectacle correction and contact lenses.
➢ Taking appropriate case history and demographic data of patients as
well as carrying out preliminary Eye tests.
