Education
During my Biotechnology degree at the University of Sharjah, I trained across multiple laboratory disciplines including Microbiology, Immunology, Hematology, Plant Tissue Culture, and Molecular Genetics. I built strong wet-lab experience in PCR, gel electrophoresis, culture handling, staining techniques, and experimental troubleshooting. Alongside laboratory work, I developed complementary skills in data interpretation, research paper writing, and literature review which enabled me to approach scientific problems analytically and communicate findings effectively.
Work & Experience
Worked as an intern in the University Hospital Medical Laboratory for two months, participating in routine testing operations and instrument maintenance. Each morning, I independently performed quality control checks on diagnostic analyzers, ensuring their accuracy and readiness before patient samples were processed. I assisted with sample handling, slide preparation, data logging, and documentation while maintaining aseptic technique and proper waste management. This environment strengthened my attention to detail, technical discipline, and ability to follow clinical laboratory standards under supervision.
