Position Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. The role involves delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, supporting operational excellence, and contributing to the organization’s strategic objectives while maintaining superior customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Ensure full adherence to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols.
Provide professional counseling and medication therapy guidance to patients/customers.
Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse reactions.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in pharmacy systems.
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and expiration tracking.
Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled substances.
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Contribute to achieving sales targets and operational KPIs (if applicable).
Participate in continuous professional development and company training programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Valid Pharmacist License issued by the relevant regulatory authority.
Minimum ]3] years of relevant pharmacy experience (referred in retail chain or corporate setting).
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and MS Office applications.
