Francesca Sforza
About Candidate
I have extensive experience supporting children and young people through my nursing career within NHS and educational settings. In my role as a Registered Nurse, I regularly cared for young children and adolescents, providing compassionate, age-appropriate care, reassurance, and emotional support to both children and their families. This included supporting children before and after medical procedures, recognising safeguarding concerns, and communicating clearly with parents and carers to ensure safety and wellbeing.
In addition, my role within a university setting involved supporting young adults during key developmental and transitional stages, delivering health education, wellbeing support, and individual care planning. These experiences have strengthened my ability to nurture, guide, and support children and young people in a calm, patient, and caring manner, while maintaining strong safeguarding awareness and promoting a safe, supportive environment.
