Education
I graduated as one of the top-performing students in my Computer Science program, ranking 5th in my cohort with a 3.84 GPA. My academic journey focused on the intersection of Data Science and AI, where I developed a rigorous approach to cleaning raw datasets and building predictive models. I pride myself on bridging the gap between theoretical Machine Learning algorithms and practical, data-driven insights.
Work & Experience
Worked on two end-to-end machine learning projects including data preprocessing, modeling, and deployment using
Flask and HTML.
Project 1: Hotel Booking Cancellation Prediction
● The dataset included features such as lead time, market segment, room type, pricing, and reservation status.
● Applied preprocessing techniques including SMOTE, outlier handling, and feature encoding.
● Trained a Logistic Regression model achieving high performance:
● Precision: 0.96–0.98, F1-score: 0.97, Accuracy: 97%
● Deployed the model using Flask with an interactive HTML interface.
Project 2: Taxi Fare Amount Prediction
● Features included weather, traffic, geolocation, and temporal data.
● Preprocessed and engineered features for regression modeling.
● Used a Random Forest Regressor achieving:
● MSE: 15.94, RMSE: 3.99, MAE: 1.83, R²: 0.83
● Deployed the model with a user-friendly web interface via Flask.

Awards
As the CV lead, I was responsible for the 'eyes' of the underwater robot. I engineered a robust vision system using Deep Learning and OpenCV to automate task recognition. Challenges included real-time color correction and noise reduction in underwater footage. My contribution was pivotal in the team securing 3rd place, specifically excelling in the autonomous task portion of the mission.
