-Performs radiographic procedures at X-ray room, emergency room, operating room, recovery room, Patient care units and Intensive care units.
Other responsibilities
-Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records, accounts and performing data entry into the computer system.
-Assisting Radiologists with general ultrasound procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Fine needle aspiration biopsy and Core needle biopsy using Ultrasound and CT Scan as a guide.
-Maintaining patients records and medical notes on ultrasound procedure they have undergone.
-Ensures prompt and accurate conduct of procedures
-Ensures verification of patient’s information, such as patients’ name and birthdate
-Ensures complete compliance on patients’ requirements for radiologic procedures
-Applies principles of radiation protection and environmental safety for members of the public, patients and co-workers
-Performs quality control of procedures to ensure quality radiographic images
-Perform related administrative duties including completing necessary forms, labelling films and film envelopes and maintaining procedure logs.
