Lead Automation Tester
Job Description
Lead Automation Tester designs scalable automation frameworks, manages QA execution, improves test coverage, ensures defect-free releases, and supports Agile software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead automation testing strategy across multiple software projects.
- Design scalable test frameworks for faster execution.
- Review test scripts, defects, and quality metrics.
- Coordinate QA teams during Agile sprint cycles.
- Automate regression, smoke, functional, integration test cases.
- Ensure CI/CD pipeline test automation integration.
- Track defects and support quick issue resolution.
- Prepare test reports for business stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong Selenium, Cypress, Playwright automation testing expertise.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript scripting.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git pipelines.
- Strong defect management and Agile testing experience.
