Job Description
Sr. System Administrator manages servers, networks, security, backups, cloud infrastructure, and user support to ensure stable, secure, high-performing IT operations for organizations across business environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage servers, networks, storage, and enterprise infrastructure daily.
- Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and security logs.
- Configure Windows, Linux, cloud, and virtualization platforms securely.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and access-related issues promptly.
- Implement patches, upgrades, antivirus, firewall, and compliance controls.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, policies, and documentation accurately.
- Support disaster recovery, backups, audits, and incident response.
- Coordinate vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders effectively.
Required Skills
- Strong Windows Server, Linux, and networking administration knowledge.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, virtualization.
- Cloud administration skills across AWS, Azure, or similar.
- Troubleshooting, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery expertise.
- Security patching, endpoint protection, and compliance management skills.
- Communication, documentation, teamwork, and vendor coordination abilities.
