My name is Peter Waithaka Ndirangu.
I studied my Undergraduate in Marketing, and shortly after, I started working for a small Sacco as a loans officer. This is where I was first introduced to data: I needed to capture and record data on every member planning to take a loan, then analyze it to determine the suitability of each individual. I then moved to an NGO that sponsored young adults to learn financial sales skills. In this role, I was able to work exclusively with Google Sheets as I was tasked with keeping and updating all the records of all participants in the program. We were able to train and connect 3000 young adults to entry-level jobs in the financial industry. Currently, I am an admin assistant at a National petroleum corporation in Qatar. In this role, I am tasked with reconciliation of sales, and I interact with Excel daily. I am currently undertaking a data analytics course at ALX in addition to learning SQL on Udemy.
My Financial expertise and data background make me an excellent fit. I am looking for a data role where I can impact company policy with my up-to-date tech skills.

Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Marketing from Kenyatta University, Kenya.
I acquired critical skills in dealing with a variety of clients.
Completed a Data Analytics course and gained critical Excel, SQL, Tableau, and reporting skills. I was also able to gain relevant AI and programming skills.
I completed a short course on Girl-Centered Design, involving formulating and implementing girl-centered programs.
Work & Experience
I am currently charged with shift management, which involves sales reconciliation, report preparation, receiving items from suppliers, and cashiering at the store. I am also responsible for resolving any client-related issues during my shift hours.
I was responsible for training youths on financial sales and services, curriculum development, budget preparation, and accountability. I was charged with data entry and analysis of participants, mobilization of the target group, and preparation of weekly reports on all center activities.
My responsibilities mainly focused on the marketing of the company's products as well as evaluating a client's assets for collateral purposes.

I was recognized by the company for being the manager of the best-performing center for two consecutive years. During my time, we were able to train and place more than 10000 youths into meaningful employment.
