Hostel Warder cum Teacher manages student hostel operations while delivering academic instruction. This role ensures student safety, discipline, and well-being alongside teaching responsibilities. The position involves supervising boarding facilities, mentoring students, coordinating activities, maintaining records, and supporting academic development within residential school environments across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise hostel students ensuring discipline and safety
- Monitor daily routines including meals and study
- Maintain attendance records and hostel documentation
- Teach assigned subjects according to curriculum
- Support students academic and personal development
- Coordinate extracurricular activities and hostel programs
- Communicate regularly with parents and administration
- Ensure hostel cleanliness hygiene and safety.
Skill & Experience
- Strong classroom teaching and student management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship abilities
- Ability handling hostel discipline and emergencies
- Good organizational and administrative documentation skills
- Leadership skills with student mentoring capability
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
