Job Description
An Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesiologists by preparing anesthesia equipment, monitoring patient status, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring safe administration of anesthesia during surgical and critical medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment
- Assist anesthesiologist during surgical procedures safely
- Check oxygen supply and airway devices
- Maintain sterile anesthesia tools and environment
- Monitor patient vitals during anesthesia procedures
- Troubleshoot anesthesia equipment technical issues
- Document anesthesia usage and patient data
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols.
Skill & Experience
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment handling
- Ability to monitor patient vitals accurately
- Excellent teamwork with surgeons and nurses
- Quick response during medical emergency situations
