Job Description
We are seeking Montessori Teacher facilitates child-centered learning in a structured environment, promoting independence, creativity, and critical thinking. They observe, guide, and support children’s developmental milestones using Montessori principles. The teacher prepares educational materials, encourages self-directed activities, fosters emotional and social growth, and communicates with parents about progress. They create a nurturing and stimulating environment that inspires curiosity, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning in early childhood students.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Montessori classroom materials ensuring a safe learning environment daily.
- Observe each child’s development and adapt activities to individual needs.
- Foster independence, self-discipline, and confidence in all classroom interactions.
- Guide children through hands-on activities encouraging critical thinking skills.
- Maintain records of student progress and communicate with parents regularly.
- Organize classroom space to support structured and child-centered learning.
- Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum effectively and consistently.
- Encourage social and emotional growth through group activities and interaction.
Skill & Experience
- Strong understanding of Montessori methods and child development principles thoroughly.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences for children.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility in managing diverse classroom behaviors effectively.
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom material preparation.
- Ability to assess and support each child’s individual learning needs.
